Health Consultations
Discover your unique constitution and create a personalized path to optimal health. Ayurveda targets the root cause of health challenges, not just the symptoms.
Unlike modern medicine that often suppresses symptoms, Ayurveda emphasizes building a foundation for lasting wellness.
Understanding the Three Doshas
The doshas are the three vital energies that govern all physical and mental processes. Everyone has all three doshas, but typically one or two are predominant in each person.

In Balance: Creative, enthusiastic, flexible, spiritual
Out of Balance: Anxious, restless, dry skin, constipation
Balanced by: Warm, moist, grounding qualities
Pitta
Fire + Water
Qualities: Hot, sharp, light, liquid, oily, spreading
Primary Site: Small intestine, stomach, liver, blood, eyes
Physical: Medium build, warm body, strong digestion
In Balance: Focused, intelligent, courageous, content
Out of Balance: Irritable, inflammatory, perfectionist
Balanced by: Cool, sweet, calming qualities
Kapha
Earth + Water
Qualities: Heavy, cold, moist, soft, dull, steady, solid
Primary Site: Chest, lymph, fat
Physical: Large build, good musculature, soft skin
In Balance: Compassionate, calm, loving, nurturing, stable
Out of Balance: Lethargic, attached, overweight, congested
Balanced by: Light, warm, mobile, dry qualities
Prakruti & Vikruti
Understanding these two concepts is essential for effective Ayurvedic treatment
Prakruti (Constitution)
Your Prakruti is your unique constitution determined at the time of conception. In Sanskrit, Prakruti means "nature" or "first creation." This basic constitution is fixed throughout your lifetime and explains the subtle differences between individuals.
Vikruti (Current State)
Your Vikruti is the current state of your doshas, influenced by food, environment, climate, season, age, emotions, and lifestyle. Ayurveda recommends adjusting your daily routine based on these changing factors to maintain balance.
⚠️ Important
Be careful with self-prescribing herbs or diet based on online quizzes—they typically evaluate Prakruti (constitution) only, not Vikruti (current imbalance). Someone with Pitta Prakruti might have Vata Vikruti, and prescribing for the wrong dosha can aggravate the condition. Professional assessment ensures accurate treatment.
Why Choose Ayurvedic Consultations?
Ayurveda targets the root cause that is creating health problems, rather than just suppressing symptoms. This holistic healing system has been helping millions of people for thousands of years.
An Ayurvedic doctor believes that your physical health and wellness are dependent upon the balance in your body, mind, and spirit.
With any client, I provide a personalized plan because there is no concept of one-size-fits-all solutions in Ayurveda.
